Hello my name is Igor Montano. I am 35 years old and the owner as well as one of the artists at Black Rhino Tattoos. I started my tattoo journey as an apprentice in 2014, and I recently celebrated my first decade as a Tattoo Artist.

Growing up in Los Angeles it was easy to become inspired by the incredible murals and street art I would see on a daily basis. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, with my beginnings being heavily inspired by the art that has surrounded me. Art became my escape from everything and has remained a major passion in my life. 

I specialize in black and grey tattoos, and I’m known for my portraits, realism, and off-brand style of horror-themed tattoos. I am constantly in pursuit of growth and improvement and welcome any and all styles of tattooing that will help me push my artistic boundaries.

I mostly enjoy spending time with my sons, Izaak, Adrik, Cooper, and Denver. I also enjoy going to the gym with my forever gym/ life partner Katie and enjoy long distance running. I am also an avid reader and love an evening of classic movies and staying on top of the latest foodie triends. I’m proud of what my team and I are building at Black Rhino, and I look forward to helping bring your tattoo ideas to life!

Black & Gray | Realism

Hello my name is I’m Alex Araiza, and I am 29 years old. I am originally from the San Fernando Valley, California, and I’ve been tattooing since 2019. 

I’ve been drawing since first grade and it eventually got to a point where I wanted to venture out into other forms of art such as painting on canvas and working with spray paint. I eventually settled on tattooing. I’m constantly inspired by what can be achieved on skin with a needle, and to this day it still blows my mind!!

I specialize in black and grey, with a focus on realism. In my spare time, I like to stay fit, I love bowling, and spending time with my son. I’m excited to collaborate with new and returning clients to put a unique spin on your ideas—Lex Visions style!

Geometric Patterns | Mandalas

Hi my name is Dawn, and I’ve been with Black Rhino since starting my apprenticeship in 2021. This place has become my second family. I specialize in geometric patterns and mandalas, but I’m always exploring new styles to expand my skills.

Tattooing is more than a career for me—it’s my passion for art. I enjoy being able to share art with others and build connections with my clients. When my tattoo machine is in hand, the outside world disappears from my mind, which is another reason I enjoy tattooing so much. 

In my free time, I like to draw and paint, rave, play pool, do yoga, and experience new things. I find that going out and enjoying different things helps me meet new people and expand my clientele in the world. I am excited to work with you and make your next tattoo a memorable experience.

Custom Lettering | Blackouts

Hey, what’s up! I go by Gueroe, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I specialize in custom lettering, blackouts, dark work, and a bit of black and grey realism.

I first got into art in middle school, drawing names for kids’ binders and being inspired by the graffiti in my neighborhood. I’d hit up the swap meets to copy lettering on shirts, and that’s where my love for art took off. Outside of tattooing, I enjoy painting and hitting the gym.

Hey, my name is Mickey! I’m 27 and originally from Las Vegas, though I’ve lived in Guam and Colorado thanks to my dad’s military career. I’ve been tattooing for almost 4 years, and I’m known for my signature color neo-traditional and black and grey realism work.

As a kid, I developed a passion for drawing and painting. As I got older, I would even get in trouble at my regular day jobs for sketching on little note cards rather than working! That was not the life for me. 



Now I’m living my dream, doing large-scale projects like full sleeves and body work. In my free time outside of tattooing, I take care of my 40+ bonsai trees and playing video games like RuneScape and Minecraft.

Hello! I’m Janessa, but you can call me Nessa. I have been tattooing for about 2 years, though I’ve been an artist my whole life. I was always the kid in class drawing eyeballs instead of studying.

Even from a very young age, I’ve devoted my time to art, and I am still constantly finding ways to evolve my craft and develop myself as a person. In my free time, I enjoy going to live music shows and spending time with my friends and my younger siblings (who I hope to inspire!).

I specialize in custom black and grey realism, portraits, and fine-line work. I look forward to working with you and bringing your vision to life.

Hello my name is Elizabeth, but I go by Littie. I am 27 years old, born and raised in Las Vegas, and I’ve been tattooing for almost 2 years. 

I became obsessed with art from a very young age, and have used a vast array of mediums to express my art. From painting murals, making custom clothing, working on canvas or any other medium, I love being able to create! 

I started my tattoo career as an apprentice under Igor Montano at Black Rhino Tattoos, and I’m always working to improve my craft. I specialize in black and gray and fine-line work, and I’m actively working tirelessly on neo-traditional and color tattooing. 



In my spare time I enjoy traveling and making the most of my time with my family, and staying up-to-date on fashion trends.

My name is Luis, I’m a Latino artist out of East Las Vegas, NV. I’ve been tattooing for 14 years now and I’ve picked up Realism, traditional, color, black and grey, during my years of tattooing, but I pride myself on creating the ideas that my clients give me and bringing them to life.

I like to sit down with my client individually and bounce ideas back and forth to customize the piece for my client so they can also edit and add things of their interest to their tattoo. Small or big pieces are always welcomed. Let’s get started in bringing your ideas into ink.

Hello! I’m Nina, 25 years old, and a tattoo apprentice at Black Rhino since early 2024. Born and raised in Las Vegas, I’ve always had a passion for art, since I grew up with the most amazingly creative and artistic family. I have always had a strong passion for art and a creative mind.

Tattooing has always been a dream career of mine, and I love to challenge myself with new designs and techniques. I specialize in black and white tattoos, and in my spare time, I’m an avid reader, a huge foodie who loves to cook and bake, and I’m an all-around nerd.
